Preparation
- In a small bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, turning pieces to coat evenly, and cover.
- Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-low heat and oil the grates.
- Place the chicken top side down on the grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until well browned.
- Flip the chicken and cook on the second side for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Serving
- Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.
Notes
For best results, marinate overnight and allow chicken to rest after grilling. Experiment with additional spices for variation.
