Ingredients
  

For the Marinade
  • 1 lb thin boneless skinless chicken breast cutlets
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 stalks green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, sliced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine all marinade ingredients.
  2. Pour the marinade over the chicken, turning pieces to coat evenly, and cover.
  3. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours, preferably overnight.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-low heat and oil the grates.
  2. Place the chicken top side down on the grill and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until well browned.
  3. Flip the chicken and cook on the second side for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Serving
  1. Transfer the grilled chicken to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions.

Notes

For best results, marinate overnight and allow chicken to rest after grilling. Experiment with additional spices for variation.
