Preparation
- Preheat the air fryer. Heat your air fryer for 5 minutes at 300 degrees F.
- Peel and slice the bananas into slices 1/4 inch in thickness. Place banana slices in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon and oil.
- Pour the cinnamon oil over the bananas and carefully mix together to ensure the banana slices are coated.
Cooking
- Place banana slices in a single layer in your air fryer (you may need to do 2 batches).
- Cook for 25-28 minutes at 300 degrees F, flipping halfway through cooking time.
- Remove from the air fryer basket and let cool for 5-10 minutes to help the banana chips crisp up.
Notes
Store cooled banana chips in an airtight container at room temperature. They typically last for 3-5 days. For a different flavor, try adding a pinch of nutmeg or experimenting with other spices.
