Ingredients
  

For the Banana Chips
  • 2 large ripe bananas Best when they have a few brown spots.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Helps prevent browning.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Enhances sweetness of bananas.
Optional Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar For a sweet, spiced touch if desired.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to the lowest temperature (about 250°F).
  2. Slice the ripe bananas into thin, even rounds (about ⅛–¼ inch thick).
  3. Arrange banana slices in the air fryer basket in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
  4. Lightly brush each banana slice with lemon juice.
Cooking
  1. Air fry the banana slices at 250°F for 20–30 minutes, checking regularly and removing any chips that are done.
  2. Let the banana chips cool completely for about 10 minutes to crisp up.
  3. If desired, toss cooled chips with cinnamon sugar for added sweetness.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best natural sweetness. Ensure banana slices do not overlap for even cooking. Can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
