Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces bananas The star ingredient providing natural sweetness and a fulfilling crunch.
  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil Adds a healthy fat and enhances the texture and flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon Offers warmth and depth of flavor, complementing the bananas beautifully.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 300 degrees F and let it warm up for 5 minutes.
  2. Peel and slice the bananas into 1/4-inch thick slices and place them in a large bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the avocado oil and ground cinnamon.
  4. Pour the cinnamon oil mixture over the banana slices, gently mixing to coat each slice evenly.
  5. Place the banana slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket; you may need to cook them in two batches.
Cooking
  1. Air fry for 25-28 minutes at 300 degrees F, flipping halfway through the cooking time for even crispiness.
  2. Remove the banana chips from the air fryer and let them cool for 5-10 minutes to achieve maximum crispiness.

Notes

For best results, use green or slightly yellow bananas. Ensure even slicing for uniform cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for optimal freshness.
